Reformer Pilates udspringer fra den originale Pilates træningsideologi. Tempoet er lavere på dette hold, end på Reformer Fitness holdet.

Ved hjælp af reformer maskinen udføres øvelser, der fokuserer på at forbedre din core-stabilitet og muskeludvikling i hele kroppen. Reformer træning tilpasses dig i forhold til både belastning og niveau, og du vil opleve at gå derfra med en følelse af styrke, velvære og en forbedret balance og kondition.

We welcome you to the former clinic wing at Kurhotel Skodsborg, where training and health are a natural part of the building’s soul.

With us, you get the combination of an effective workout and renewed energy through hot or reformer training. The training strengthens the entire body in a simple and gentle way. Our concept is simple; come dressed – work out – and go home feeling great. Join one of our 20+ weekly classes, train with our professional instructors and experience training that challenges your strength, flexibility and endurance.

What is Reformer training and Hot training?

Experience reformer training with sea views and a healing and wellness hot room

We welcome you with 2 different halls.

The Reformer room has a sea view of Øresund and a private balcony, and fresh sea scent is a natural part of the training experience. Light curtains and the hall’s inviting light universe can be enjoyed from one of the 10 reformer machines.

Stepping into the hot room is like feeling a nice warm hug. Infrared panels in the ceiling heat the room to around 37 degrees and the healing effect of the heat is immediately felt on muscles and joints. In the hot room, several different types of training are performed such as hot yoga, hot pilates, hot stretch etc. Read more about hot training.

Skodsborg Reformer Studio opens 15 minutes before class starts and closes 15 minutes after class ends. Opening hours follow the individual classes offered per day.

Address: Skodsborg Strandvej 125B, 1st floor, 2942 Skodsborg.

We are located at Kurhotel Skodsborg and are housed in the former clinic wing on the 1st floor of the conference building. Entrance is via the conference building at Søjlegangen.

You can train at Skodsborg Reformer Studio by purchasing a punch card. To purchase vouchers, you need to create a profile in our system.

We always offer an optional free trial lesson. Contact us by phone at least 15 days in advance if you want a trial lesson.

You can book classes by creating a profile and signing up here. Class registration can be done at the earliest 15 days in advance.

If the class is fully booked, it is possible to join the waiting list. Classes often become available and you will automatically be notified at least 2 hours in advance if you have a place in the class.

Both halls are shoe-free areas.

Forreformer training, we recommend using Toe Sox. Toe Sox are socks with anti-slip under the sole of the foot and toes to prevent slipping during exercises on the reformer. Toe Sox can be purchased in the Spa Shop, located on the 1st floor of Spa & Fitness.

For trial sessions and as a hotel guest, it is possible to train in regular socks. It is not allowed to wear indoor shoes.

For hot training, the room is heated to 37 degrees. Hot training is performed barefoot and preferably in light clothing. Bikini/swimwear is not allowed. We recommend bringing a towel and water bottle. Read more about hot training here.

No-show fee v. Failure to unsubscribe costs a penalty.

Cancellations must be made no later than 2 hours before the class starts.

There are no shower facilities, but it is possible to change in the restrooms, but we recommend coming dressed from home. Upon arrival, shoes and outerwear should be placed in the Locker Room.

It’s also possible to lock smaller personal belongings in safes.

Travel should be quiet so as not to create noise in waiting areas while class training is in progress.

If you’re brand new, you can safely sign up for a free trial lesson.

The instructor will give you a short introduction before the class starts. Therefore, please come dressed and be ready within 10 minutes. before the start of the shift.

It is possible to bring guests to the training. When registering for classes, an extra seat is booked for your guest and payment is made with vouchers from your voucher card.

We have free parking at street level. Parking is recommended at Villa Rex (driveway first right on arrival at Kurhotel Skodsborg).
If parking for more than 4 hours, the license plate must be registered at the Hotel or Spa & Fitness reception.
We also have 4 parking spaces with charger for electric cars (requires subscription to E.ON) and 6 disabled parking spaces.

Hot Breathwork

Breathwork is dynamic breathing exercises that help you find peace and groundedness in your body.
In 37 degree heat, the breathing exercises will move and open your energy and clear your mind. It is both a catharsis experience and an expansion of consciousness. Breathwork is experienced as a form of exercise that balances the nervous system and opens your heart so you can better feel yourself.

We start with physical body movements to open the body and energy and continue with the Breathwork session itself.
Breathwork leaves you open and receptive to your surroundings.

Heat & Sculpt

Experience an intensive and highly effective workout that strengthens and tones your entire body and increases your endurance.

Heat & Sculpt is a full body workout in 3 steps, performed in 37 degree heat. We start with a 10-minute warm-up where gentle stretches and movements get your heart rate up and your body ready. This is followed by 30 minutes of functional training where you work the whole body using both your own body weight and equipment. Finally, finish with 10 minutes of stretching exercises, which are particularly beneficial for improving flexibility, reducing muscle tension and promoting recovery.

Hot Stretch

Let the heat work for you as we welcome you to Hot Stretch at 37 degrees.

Hot Stretch is based on principles from Yin Yoga and relaxation and is a unique form of exercise if you want greater freedom of movement and better mental balance. We focus on both physical and mental well-being through a mindful practice where each pose is held for 1-4 minutes. This achieves deep and calm stretches, where muscles and joints become supple and you reach the connective tissue.

Hot Yoga – Dynamic Flow

Welcome to Dynamic Flow at 37 degrees, where the heat helps your stretches and challenges your physique.

Dynamic Flow is an experiential form of yoga that unites body and mind. It is built on a creative form of Hatha Yoga and on principles from Astanga Yoga – creating yoga with repetitive movements in interaction with the breath.
We focus on body awareness, allowing time to notice and listen to your body and feel when it is in balance and when you are pushing it too hard.
