Enjoy a wonderful Sunday brunch in Brasserie Carl every Sunday (valid from 12 March). The Sunday brunch offers an exquisite selection such as organic scrambled eggs, freshly baked bread, homemade pies, vegetarian delights, pancakes, smoked salmon from our own smoking oven and much more. The brunch includes coffee, tea and organic juice.

Brasserie Carl is all about healthy principles and indulgence. We have a holistic approach to health and well-being. Food should not only be good for the body, but also a treat for the soul and the eye – a celebration of life.  So, our guests always have a choice.

They can opt for pure, scrumptious vegetarian-based cuisine. They can complement the beautiful vegetables with delicious meat of their own choosing, or enjoy an excellently cooked classic, where the meat is often the star of the show and calorie-counting is not a priority.

Whatever you choose, the food is always based on the very-best seasonal ingredients. As much as we can, we use local produce and cook it to perfection – always with a unique little Carl touch.

Kurhotel Skodsborg’s Brasserie pays homage to the visionary values of health and wellness, which Dr Carl Ottosen developed more than 100 years ago. His belief that fresh air, water, light, gymnastics and “a rational diet” had a healing, preventive effect still constitute a fundamental set of values for Kurhotel Skodsborg. Today we pay tribute to healthy living à la 2022. And the belief that a healthy lifestyle and a vegetarian diet can help our well-being has never been more relevant.

That is why, out of respect for Ottesen’s eternal thoughts, we christened the brasserie ‘Carl’.
