“I followed Rich Froning, a.k.a. “The Fittest Man in History”, on YouTube. He was awesome and his exercises inspired me,” says our CrossFit Instructor Casper Gammelmark about his first experiences with CrossFit.
Casper was a high-level competitive table tennis player and felt that the weight training, which had been organized by the team’s physiotherapist, was too boring. He was captured by the competitive element in CrossFit and these days he participates in CrossFit competitions and training camps all over the world.
A typical CrossFit Session with Casper Gammelmark
“I always begin my sessions with a light warm-up followed by going through the technique in the exercises,” says Caper Gammelmark, when asked to tell about one of his typical CrossFit sessions.
The actual work-out varies in duration, pattern and movement, typically mixing body exercises, machines and weight lifting.
Casper will often round off the session with a cool-down, ensuring that the participants get rid of the lactic acid in their muscles.
The participants in Caper’s classes are especially enthusiastic about his efficient programmes as well as the great advice he offers on techniques and the correct movement patterns. Further to this they emphasise that they become stronger and improve their techniques.
