CROSSFIT IS EFFECTIVE, VARIABLE AND FUN TRAINING FOR THE WHOLE BODY
CrossFit is, in our opinion, the ultimate form of training because it combines strength, fitness and agility training to give you a slim, athletic and strong body. Crossfit trains the entire body, and is therefore the only training form you need. You always train CrossFit with – and against – others, which gives healthy competition, new trainers and often a good laugh.
CROSSFIT SKODSBORG FOCUSES ON FOUR STYLES OF CROSSFIT
The range of CrossFit-like training styles has exploded in recent years and may be difficult to figure out. Skodsborg Spa & Fitness is a certified CrossFit center and we have basic training CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day). In addition, we have teams with special focus on strokes and kicks, mobility and gymnastics, CrossFit Striking, CrossFit Mobility and CrossFit Gymnastics.
A WOD (Workout Of the Day) will typically consist of:
Thorough heating (about ten minutes)
Technical training (about 15 minutes)
Today’s workout (about 20 minutes)
Finisher (about five minutes)
CROSSFIT STRIKING (BOXING)
Striking adds boxing elements to the CrossFit training. You learn basic impact technique using shadow boxing and boxing bags.
Striking is especially for you who want to exercise strength, fitness and mobility.
In mobility we work with joints and muscles and perform deep stretch exercises for the entire body. The exercise makes your joints and muscles more flexible as well as gives a good body awareness and exercises your balance.
Mobility is a good supplement to the physically demanding WOD.
We train gymnastic elements and exercises where you will become stronger, more flexible and gain greater body control.
A class typically consists of a power-based warm-up followed by one to two gymnastic elements that are intensively and efficiently trained.
Gymnastics is a workout for you who want to get stronger on the gymnastic elements included in CrossFit – and who want to improve your motor-skills.

To make sure you sign up for a team at the right level, we’ve divided our CrossFit classes into three levels:
Level 1 – Beginner / Easy
Level 2 – Intermediate
Level 3 – Advanced (Physical and / or Technical)

EXPERIENCED AND HIGHLY EDUCATED CROSSFIT INSTRUCTORS
Crossfit is an extremely effective form of training because it is so intense. But the intensity also means that it is crucial to do the exercises with the right technique. Our instructors are both experienced and empathic – most of the instructors are personal trainers and, for example, zone therapists or alternative therapists.

PERSONAL TRAINING IN CROSSFIT
Do you want to train CrossFit or appear more experienced and independet in a CrossFit class, then consider getting a personal trainer. The personal trainer teaches you to perform the CrossFit exercises technically correct and they teach you about programming and recovery.
